If you are looking for a place to serve at Journey on Sunday mornings, there are so many opportunities to get involved! From the children’s ministry to the sound-booth to the greeting ministry – we have a place for your gifts and talents to shine. If you would like info on where you can serve, call the church office at 409-755-1388! We will point you in the right direction.
Tender Love: Orphan Care in Uganda
Tender Love Orphan Care in Uganda is supported by Journey Community Church. We make sure the children and guardians of Tender Love have everything they need including food, school supplies, clothing, medical provisions and other items.

Love In Action: Homeless Ministry
Love in Action is the Homeless Ministry at Journey Community Church. We feed, clothe, and minister to those in need. If you would like to make a donation, we have a drop off box located behind our Ministry Center (the two-story building)—just look for the sign.

Embrace the Journey: Foster Closet
Embrace the Journey is the foster family ministry at Journey Community Church. We provide clothing, baby items, furniture… pretty much anything a child in foster care might need! If you would like to donate an item, we have a drop off box located behind our Ministry Center (the two-story building)—just look for the sign. Our Other Ministries
In addition to the ministries above, Journey does outreaches for the community including family events, Show and Shines, and we love feeding the community. We also minister to our church family through meal trains, women’s ministry, men’s ministry, discipleship, youth events and more.
